One of the many strings to the company bow is our knowledge in the sound and lighting sector and this was recently given a twist with a request.
Last year we were approached to undertake a request by one of our clients in Pembrokeshire, to revamp their dancefloor with lighting for their in house entertainment for coach tours, parties and more in their hotel.
The request was simple, lighting that looked effective and created a good atmosphere to replace dated and power hungry lighting on a custom made lighting truss suspended above the dancelfoor.
They were keen to reutilise lighting that was salvagable but the main feature of the dancefloor was a colour changing projected light that had seen better days and was beyond economical repair.
The lighting plan ended up with a few options that went back to the management for approval, after a couple of small demos and with pricing options discussed. We were able to service existing broken lights, repair them and get them back in action plus install a new Dot Matrix from ADJ above the dancefloor to give a wide colour fade for more mellow evenings of entertainment but then also give a bigger disco vibe for the livelier nights including sporting weekends.
Whilst always being an event hire company with sound and lighting at our core. Undetaking this servicing of disco lights plus installing new disco lighting for a valued customer was just something we couldn't turn down. We always enjoy being able to put our expetise to good use, whatever the area and helping a long standing customer is something we love doing!.
The outcome was not only did we meet the clients specifications but we brought old lights back to life and have given the hotel dancefloor and function room a new life for all occasions.
