Normal Game Days
On general game days’ the Hire of Radios used by marshals to coordinate game structure give them the ability to communicate any issues out on the playing field.

Each team would have their own frequency and the marshals would have a different one. With traditional handheld radios that are on hire, all frequencies would be on all the radios so each team could (if they wanted to cheat) listen in to the opposition.
The marshals have their own frequency/channel for coordination of the game and also to manage incidents or emergencies.
With the introduction of Digital Radios each team could have a talk group for their own sides frequencies with a common emergency channel standard to either side.
