Motorola Solutions brand new EVX-S30 radio is taking over the compact digital 2 way radio arena. The  new EVX-S30 builds on the foundation of its predecessor the EVX-S24 while maintaining the rugged, discreet form factor that made the S24 so popular for schools, bars and pubs.

Designed for professionals who need reliable communication without the bulk, the EVX-S30 operates on the UHF band (403–480 MHz) and supports both digital DMR and analog modes. It is ready to order from late 2026 and will come in 2 colours.

 

Other smart features The new model boasts a ruggedized IP67 rating, making it entirely dust-tight and capable of being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. It is also tested to MIL-STD 810 standards for shock, vibration, and temperature extremes, ensuring it can handle demanding industrial environments.
