2020 is the start of a new decade and whilst for many, January is a time to start new healthy eating regimes. 2020 is a big year as it's the 75th year of peace in Europe - VE Day.
Due to the Cornavirus, the VE Day 75 Official website has said they are urging organises to postpone VE Day event plans for 2020. They are asking all those who have made plans to move to the rescheduled date of 15th - 16th August 2020.
Bruno Peek, Pagentmaster of the VE Day group said;-
I am afraid that the terrible Coronavirus emergency and consequent Government guidance means that we must advise participants to cancel or postpone the majority of the VE Day 75 community celebrations due to take place on the bank holiday weekend of 8th – 10th May. It is right and proper that people should be kept safe and healthy.
For such a poignant and significant day for many not only in the UK but around the world. We are extremely humbled to be working with so many groups on putting together celebratory events for VE Day this year.

The 75th Anniversary of VE Day will provide the UK with the chance to relfect and mark such an important day.
The UK will commemorate the day with a 3 day celebration taking place from the 8th to the 10th of May 2020. If you are hosting an event for it and need to hire for 3 days. We will offer affordable and competitive hire prices to ensure as charities raise as much money as possible.
