Communic8 Joins the DMR Association

We're extremely proud to have recently been approved to become a CAT3 member of the DMR Association. Read more to find out about the association and how we here at Communic8 will be improving our use of digital two way radios.

What is the DMR Association?

The DMR Association is a global organisation whose main aim is to help the digital mobile radio become the most widely used and supported digital radio in business.

The association is made up of buyers, makers and users of DMR and they are aiming to ensure that in a competitive market, value is still at the forefront of the technology.

Coming up for 11 years old now. the DMR association was founded by a group of radio manufacturers to support ETSI. The association is still forever strong. They are maintaining their push in DMR with links to regulators, global trade bodies and other organisations around the globe. The knowledge, experience and technology on a global scale means DMR is at the forefront of business and slowly individual two way radio.

As we are new to digital radio, but having used many types of analogue handsets in many different environments and surroundings. We were keen to join the DMR Association. We wanted to do this not only to spread the awareness of digital mobile radio but to educate our clients who come to us for walkie talkie hire around the UK.
