As much of the normality slips into our every day lives we are bringing a round up of 2021 so far as we start to slowly get back into outdoor and indoor events. With the COVID-19 Pandemic taking out a lot of our business with the lack of events and this having an impact on our Sound and Lighting hires. We were quite thankful that the range of walkie talkies we supply, kept things ticking over. Almost 16 months on from the first initial lockdown in March 2020.
We have started getting back out and about and have got back into supplying Wedding Hires, Outdoor Sound Systems and our Commentary Boxes. It is also great to see people enquiring out events in October and December with Outdoor and Architectural Lighting Hire being a popular topic of conversation lately. From our little bases in Pembrokeshire it's been great to get some equipment back out around England and Wales plus ship radio parts and accessories not just in the UK but across the world.
Well, in the last 12 months a lot has changed inside the business. Some key things to note are;-

We were extremely fortunate to supply a sound system consisting of 4 outdoor loudspeakers, with a range of microphones both cabled and wireless for HRH The Duke of Cambridge. This event took place on Sandringham Estate for the grounds 10k and Half Marathon events. Certainly something we won't forget in a hurry!.

Our sound equipment has seen slow investment in the last 12 months. This is mostly due to the pandemic and the lack of events resulting in us holding back on investing in our Public Address equipment. That said, the mid part of 2021 has seen a surge in enquiries. As more people are socially distanced, wireless microphones are an easy way for commentators to have their own microphone and also be distanced from other team members. With this pattern emerging we have invested in more Sennheiser Microphones. These are available to hire on short and long term rentals.
